Last drawing of the decade, babey!
I finally got a switch this christmas, and I'm so happy! Using money from old giftcards and such, I bought Pokemon Shield! Hatterene is one of my favourite new Pokemon, along with Indeedee, Eldegoss, and Perrserker. And a few others.
Oh also, I'm experimenting with how I do lineart a bit. How does it look on this drawing? I personally like it a lot.

Last bit of personal art before I finally buckle down and finished some owed art.
Dream Team is my favourite Mario RPG, it was only a matter of time before I made a Pi'illo FC.
She's not a new character, but I did redesign her at the start of August, so kinda renewed? That was at least a month and a half ago so yeeeeh.
Regardless! Meet Pi'illia.
I really can't say much about her right now because I'm currently redoing her backstory, but she's a survivalist and a childhood friend of Fergie's.

I actually finished this yesterday, but I didn't post it right away because it was 2am when I finished it.
Uh, anyway- here's the Chuckolator. It scared me a bit when I was younger, but now I've grown to love it's design. Shading this was lotsa fun, especially the liquid parts!
It's also pretty obvious, but I used the backgrounds for Chucklehuck Woods and whatever the area you battle the Chuckolator in as a part of the background. They're ripped straight from the game, I didn't make them. I did make the drawing, however!
And can I just say this? Superstar Saga had some of the coolest character and boss designs, hands down.

I was only gone for about four days, and I already have like 400+ notifications. Hopefully I'll get through them later today or tomorrow.
OK SO BASICALLY I wanted to draw something cool, but nooOooO, em's_hands.exe have stopped working. So I drew this stupid cloud. I made her sometime while I was away as a joke character, but now I've actually given her a somewhat proper backstory. (Albeit short though) I still kept many joke-y aspects of her.
Her name is... Tammy. She mainly goes by Tam, however. Tam as in Tam Pest. Tam Pest as in tempest.
She's a thundercloud (y'know, that annoying item from Mario Kart Wii?) and she hates everyone, but especially you in particular. Yeah, you. Also she's the only FC of mine that's strictly aligned as "chaotic evil".
Despite the fact that I (and most of my Mario FCs) regularly take cheap shots at her, I actually kinda like her. She's quite nice to draw because of how simple she is. In fact, you'll possibly see me draw her somewhat often because of this!
2024 edit: i did not, in fact, draw her "somewhat often". not publicly at least, still like her lots tho.

Okay so I've been seeing a few "MS Paint challenge" things here and there, so I thought I'd try my hand at it...? And gosh diddly darn I love sketchy pixel lines! The colours were taken from the old MS Paint pallet too! That's why she looks off-coloured in some areas.
Oh yeah, I didn't even make this in MSpaint (I don't have it*), I used the pixel pen in ibisPaint x.
Also!! This is the first time I've drawn Fergie using her poison powers. Kinda...?
2024 edit: yeah, i "didn't have ms paint" because i straight up did not own a computer until i graduated high school. all of my drawings have always been done on my ipad, and it's so ingrained in me that i may just stay like that for good. if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Eyy a new FC! Well, he's actually not super new, he's only a few months old. (I still have lotsa old characters to introduce y'all to oof)
His name is Dallas, and despite having no siblings, he acts as a "cool older brother" to Fergie, Aiden and Gwen. (Their parents were friends)
Another thing to mention is that he's a Pyro Bandit! (His dad's a Pyro Guy, and mom's a Bandit, so a hybrid of the two) While he's not on fire here, he can set himself ablaze if he wants! It doesn't hurt him... he only gets a little crispy. (Even then, only after a long time)
There's a little more to him than that but I'm not gonna dump his whole bio here now.
Also... I'm not too keen on his design? He looked cooler as a sketch. I'm gonna redesign him but keep this as an alternative outfit.
EDIT: I redesigned him and now I like him even more! ! Now I gotta make a drawing with his new design oof

BACKah gosh I nearly forgot how to draw her! (well, except her face, I've made doodles of it here and there)
It has been... six months I think since I've posted a drawing of her. That's not great considering she's my main OC and all
I've had this idea for who knows how long.. Since Fergie Koopa is named after Fergie (the singer) I wanted to draw her in the style of one of her album covers. I chose
Double Dutchess because I liked the pose, and a good portion of her other album covers are kinda... suggestive. Just a bit. So yeah, not those ones.
When I was naming Fergie, I wanted to name her after a musician like the rest of the Koopalings. I tried to think of female musicians with unique names, and Fergie was the first one I thought of. Which is odd, because I don't really listen to her music or know much about her. But the name kinda stuck, and now it's likely final.
I didn't really think about this when naming Gwen. I just asked my mom for a nice name, and she said Gwen. I thought of Gwen Stefani afterwards and just went... oh yeah, she's a musician I guess.
Fergie and Gwen's full names are Ferguson Lilly Koopa, and Gwendela Rose Koopa. Do what you want with this knowledge.

I originally wanted to draw Orange and Lime sitting on the edge of a pool, but that... didn't really happen, oh well. This looks great either way, and I don't think I can draw Lime good yet. So it works out! :D
Honestly, I love Orange's summer costume. I almost always wear (swim) shorts and sandals, so it makes me kinda happy to see characters I like wearing them, I guess?
SPeaking of that, I strongly believe that swim shorts are just the best things to wear ever, even outside of water. Even in winter. Call me weird, but I mcfrickn' love wearing them. :')

A new lad, I got him from LittleFuriousPancake. I only made minor changes to his design.
His name is Claude, and there's a story behind that name!
His green/purple colour scheme reminded me of Popple (from Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga) so I kinda based his personality off of him. Claude is Popple's name in the French version of the game.
His weapon is a golden knife, and his burst is sparkly purple dust with gold glitter. It sticks to things.
He can also hang from things with his tail, and he really likes sandwiches.
He also has an older brother named Sal who I won't draw because he's almost the same as Claude, but with darker colours and cool boots.

Aaaanyho, this is just a sketchy doodle thing I did to make myself feel better when I was sad earlier today. It turned out okay, but there's a few mistakes here and there.
A little off topic, but they have tryouts for the Super Smash Bros. team at my school tomorrow. I'm very nervous and I really want to make the team.
We play on the Switch, and we have to bring our own controllers. This means I'm gonna have to buy a controller, but I don't even have a Swich myself?? So I'm just gonna have this controller that I can't use at home,, which is alright I guess,, but I can't use it,,,,

So I noticed that mocchin-cafe was having a mage MYO event! I've wanted to create one of these dudes for a bit, so when better than now?
She also doesn't have a name yet, but I was thinking something ocean-related? If you have a suggestion I'd love to hear it.
Traits used:
Skintype: Skin (common)
Mask: Cool add-ons (common), effects (mage)
Clothes: Poncho (common), human-like attire (uncommon)
Face: One mouth (common)
Other: External gills* (rare), mage power (mage), carnivorous (uncommon)
*gills are on face, elbows, and legs
- The first outfit is a rain poncho, the next one shows what's under the poncho (with an alt. jacket), and the last one is a swimsuit! (Because she loves swimming, and water in general)
- The "effect" on her mask is just floating water. It looks like it's coming out of the painted mouth on her mask.
- She has the ability to manipulate water (hydrokinesis??), but only for short amounts of time. Basically, more water = less time she can move it for.
- She's around 3 feet tall.

Day 7: Favourite game
My favourite game in the Mario RPG series is Dream Team! It's probably one of my favourite games of all time, actually.
Regardless, here's a lil doodle of DREAMBERT AGAIN, and Starlow. I was gonna draw Luigi and Mario here as well, but I couldn't get them to look good. Honestly I really wasn't sure to do for today.
But yeah, Dream Team was the best! It was my first Mario RPG, and it really stuck with me, even years after I played it. I love the music (geez, there isn't even a single bad song in the OST) and the characters. Oh the characters. All of them had such unique and aesthetically pleasing designs! I just really think that this game had something that the others in the series didn't.
Fun fact: Since it was one of my favourite games, I wanted my some of my characters to have some connection to the game. That's why Fergie, Gwen, and Aiden all live in Pi'illo Wakeport!
EDIT: FFFF I FORGOt to mention this but, I skipped last day because I technically don't have a favourite final boss.

So I was looking on Tumblr today, and I found an art challenge called Mario and Luigi week! It was to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Superstar Saga, which I unfortunately forgot. (You would draw the prompts in mid-November 2018)
But time does not matter to me! I'd still like to try it, even though I'm... a few months late.
Ok so basically:

He committed suicide, but became a ghost because of his unfinished life. He was wandering around one day, when he came across the Circus. He watched a show there and he liked it! Afterwards, he figured he should put his powers to good use, and decided to apply for a job there. He became a fortune teller. Y'all should actually enter this contest! It was pretty fun guessing what the characters might look like. I'm probably very, very off from the actual designs, but I tried my best.
Here's my thoughts on each of 'em:
1. I think this was supposed to be a warthog/pig creature? They reminded me of Midbus for whatever reason.
2. It's... a square. But now with a body.
