i got no straight roads sometime in october and,, OH man,,, oh my gOD,, kjgrduhjhbyb i'm in LOVE! like seriously it's one of the best games i've played- i could just gush on and on about the characters, the music, the overworld, etc. it’s very visually pleasing :)

anyway here's sayu! she's one of my faves along with dj subatomic supernova and eve. her "fictional digital mermaid idol" schtick is right up my alley. fun fact: it took me more tries to beat her than the final boss?? there's just so many things to dodge...

aerosmith was gonna be here too, but i'm only 16 so i can't airplane yet. so you get a vaguely plane-shaped object in the background instead.

i've been a fan of jojo's bizarre adventure since late last year, narancia is one of my favourite characters! and nothing gets me out of artblock better than drawing my faves.

them!! the children (and dallas)

Here are my main Mario FCs! They may as well be my main characters as a whole, since I've been working on them so much for the past few years. I'm sure some of you are familiar with them. However, I always love an excuse to talk about them soo.....
From left to right, here's a bit about them!

Fergie: A brash and unintelligent baseball player from Pi'illo Wakeport. She's just your typical middle school bully, looking for a fight. She's carefree, doesn't hold grudges, and is easily bribed with money. Her """saving grace""" is that she isn't naturally as,, awful as she is- she's just really bad following her mother's (morally decent) footsteps.
I pity her hairbrush and shower drain.

Aiden: Fergie's twin brother, and her external voice of reason. His arm and severed tail were badly damaged in a fight a few years ago, they still haven't healed properly. He used to be reckless like Fergie, but is now soft-spoken and thinks things through. He gets along well with Pi'illia.

Chortle: A chatty lad, but he rarely says anything of value. (2024 edit: why the fuck was i so mean here) His body and stretchy, detachable limbs are mostly hollow, so his steps are light and floaty. Most people are 99% sure he is... or was a Beanish, but there's something definitely off about him and his strange powers.

Pi'illia: Short tempered yet smart, this Pi'illo has taken a liking to modern explosives. She's also a survivalist- and she loves to explore, too! She was Fergie's childhood best friend, although she's closer with Aiden these days. Maybe it's because they both have severed body parts and are a li'l more mature than the others?

Dallas: A Bandit/Pyro Guy hybrid, he can light himself on fire at will. I suppose you could say he steals people's hearts, not their money. He has a large collection of floral shirts, but the one he's wearing now is his favourite. Mature, but still a bit of a kid himself, he's the ideal older brother to the group.

This was originally going to be a front-facing reference and height comparison- so all of them were drawn separately. Chortle isn't creepily staring at Pi'illia. I promise.

Kitten

I’m very sorry for the long wait ;o; I’m going to manage my time better from now on.
Anyway, it was an absolute joy doing the lineart and shading for this! It’s a slightly older style of mine, so it makes me a bit nostalgic. (Not to mention that the drawing is of a kitten- I used to draw cats and other four-legged animals all the time when I was little!)

Indeedee-F

I haven't been motivated to draw very much lately, so I'm trying to make fanart like this so I don't lose the will to draw completely. I'm not sure if that's the best way to explain it, but whatever.

Anyway, here's a stylized Indeedee.
Honestly, this may just be my second most favourite Pokémon, right after Toxapex. I used one on my team for Shield and I was almost immediately captivated by it's cute appearance! Not to mention that it has an amazing typing and decent bulk, too.

The Japanese text is supposed to say Indeedee's Japanese name. My apologies if I got it wrong.
